Their crinkle cut fries are made perfectly with just the right crunch on the outside and tender on the inside, with a little seasoning. This is their SMALL size of fries, but the portion was more like a large serving! The line can be long, but the staff is pretty quick and very friendly. The dining area is always being cleaned and there's a lot of tables to dine. Great "go to" place for a quick bite.

Heard some good things about this place, but as a LV local, I usually avoid the Strip and Downtown at all costs. Well, today I had jury duty downtown, so I decided to stop in for lunch afterwards. It's in a nice food hall inside the Fremont hotel. Clean, plenty of tables. I was done with jury duty pretty early, so I had to wait an hour or so for them to open for business. I ordered their three-piece meal (3 tenders, fries & Texas toast). Was pleased to see that you can still get a quick, decent meal in a Vegas casino for around $10. Food came out fairly quickly, everything was nice and hot. Chicken was tasty, nicely breaded. Fries were well seasoned. Toast was fine too. Overall, I'd say Huey Magoo's was alright. However, it'll probably be a while before I go back, as I'm not planning to be DT again anytime soon.

The boyfriend and I came straight from the airport to downtown to check in to our hotel. I was pretty famished and probably complaining about it because I get hangry. So we stopped into the food court at the back of the Fremont Hotel to get lunch. The food court area is nicely renovated, sparkly and new, it doesn't really match the rest of the hotel. There are plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all the customers, too. We passed a few cafe looking places and Dunkin' Donuts for this chicken place. Huey Magoos feels like a chain take out place like raising canes, but I've never seen others. Or maybe if I've seen them, I haven't taken notice. Maybe because it was a Sunday and we weren't able to go to chick fil a, we thought chicken sounded good, not sure, but im glad we tried it. We shared the largest combo meal and we actually had trouble finishing it. I think it came with 5 pieces of chicken and fries, Texas toast and sauces. It reminded me of raising canes, even the sauce tasted similar. It was good, it came out quick and it filled us up. Our lunch wasn't too pricey, like $20 for the both of us. There are obviously a lot of other places in Vegas to eat at, but when you're staying downtown on a Sunday and want something fast, this is an option.
